What Scouts Say

Critics Consensus

A compelling understated performance sedan deserving more recognition with 5.0L naturally aspirated V8 producing 420 HP with RWD and excellent exhaust note, quality soft leathers and substantial build, and understated styling aging well vs modern aggressive designs. Affordable at mid-$20k to lower-$30k range. Launched alongside BMW M3 and Mercedes C63 AMG overshadowing debut. No manual transmission (only 8-speed auto with paddles). Less power than C63 AMG's 6.2L V8. Lexus lacked performance credentials in 2007.
